Quality Technician

Purpose of the job:Conduct all product measurements activities according to Metrology requirements and principles.Key Performance Areas:Measure components prior assembly analyse trial products during development or test finished goodsRecords and analyse the results in order to decide whether to certify or reject specific productsFacilitate, analyse MSA studies for machine and tool capability requirementsCompile quality monthly reportsUpdate and display quality performance on all quality boardsRaise purchase requisition on Syspro for quality departmentprepare and update quality documentationData capturing and assist with internal policies and proceduresControl and follow up on non-conforming reportsMinimum qualifications:Grade 12Formal qualification in QualityFormal qualification in MetrologyExtensive knowledge and use of measuring arm equipmentMinimum of 1 year in a quality department within ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 listed companySuitable applications can be emailed to ****** Note:  Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted
