Quality Management ResponsibilitiesEnsure that all products and processes are in accordance with Quality Standards and customer-specific requirements.Monitor and control Quality Systems and Processes to achieve Quality Standards and meet customer-specific requirements (CSRs).Minimum QualificationsGrade 12National Diploma in Quality Management or Engineering-related qualificationTrained Auditor ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949:2016 & VDA 6.3:2016Minimum 5 years in a similar role within Automotive/ManufacturingSkills: MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OutlookUnderstanding of ISO/IATF and OEM StandardsUnderstanding of Problem-Solving TechniquesQuality ManagementConduct quality investigations (Internal, Supplier, Customers)Maintain IATF 16949:2016 CertificationQuality AssuranceMaintain the Quality Assurance systemAuditsConduct internal 1st party Process audits (VDA 6.3:2016), System Audits (IATF), Supplier Audits, Product/Dock auditsSupply Quality Assurance (SQA)Interact with all suppliersApprove all PSW/PPAP/ISIR for new projects/products/itemsCustomer Relations (External and Internal)Interact with internal and external customers regarding quality issuesInvestigate internal production, project, and customer laboratory test failuresQuality ControlInvestigate all Quality non-conformances and track corrective actions (Initiate, follow up and close)Make decisions on quarantined products (Pass, Reject, or Rework)Manage and maintain the Quality Management System ensuring compliance with IATF 16949:2016 and VDA 6.3Achieve Quality Assurance operational objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; identifying and resolving problems; completing audits; determining system improvements and implementing changeCommunicate and liaise with internal and external customers and foster relationshipsSupport quality production inspectors in making product-related decisions regarding quarantined products (Pass, Reject, or Rework)Review, update, and approve Flow Charts, Control Plans, and FMEAsFacilitate Measurement System Analysis and Capability Studies on all measuring equipment (CPK, CMK)Responsible for Supplier Development in liaison with Stores Controller and Manufacturing PractitionerMaintain & improve product quality by completing product, process, system, compliance, and surveillance audits & investigating customer complaints.Compile Monthly Management Quality ReportsCompile weekly yields reportsApprove COCsAdvanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)Review Quality Risks of APQP activitiesEnsure compliance with process and Customer SpecificationsComplete Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) for all customersProvide input to the Contract Review Process
