Quality Manager (Steel Industry)

Minimum requirements: A minimum of 10 years experience as a quality manager in a mid-size business with 6 years at Artisan level Qualifications in either Boilermaker Trade test Certificate, Level 2 Welding inspectors (SAIW), MT & PT level 2, Galvanizing Inspectors level 2, RT interpretation (SAIW), ASME / NBIC Codes of construction (SAIW) or NACE Level 1 Key Responsibilities: Very good computer literacy in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet Browser) and STRUMIS Survey analysis to establish the internal and external company performance based on customer feedback Participate in weekly production Meeting Lead daily check in with inspectors Lead quality department meetings weekly Participate in monthly Workshop department meeting Experience in implementation of ISO9001-2015 & ISO 4500 and EN 3834 Knowledge codes and standards in SANS 2001; CS- 2017, AWS D1.1;2015, ASME IX Training in SHE Ability to coach team members in-house and in-field Excellent understanding of key measurements and metrics which drive OTIFAS Ability to analyze production and make improvements Consultant: Thandi Speelman - Dante Personnel Johannesburg
