Duties:Ensure First off, Last off, and Patrol Inspections are completed and documented.Ensure Quality Engineering is represented at all Feasibility StudiesEnsure adherence to the HRD plan and BBBEE requirementsContribute to the creation and implementation of best practice quality vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.Implement all relevant procedures described in the Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure complianceManage, coach and develop a high-performing quality operations team that meets agreed objectives and which delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvementsRelationship ManagementDevelop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal performanceEnsure understanding and application of all relevant policies and procedures set out in the Quality Management System as may be appropriateResponsible for timeous and accurate submission of the Budget to the Finance department on an annual basisEnsure compliance with all Company standards and proceduresAdhere to all laid down company safety policies & the OHS Act.Identify the risk processes in the department and implement countermeasures to negate the risks in relation to legal compliance and customer requirements.Ensure accurate and timely reporting as may be applicable to the respective KPAs for the position.Ensure compliance with company levels of authority. Minimum Requirements:Qualification in Engineering or OperationsMinimum of 5 years experience in Quality Management in an automotive environment.Computer Literacy SYSPRO advanced, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook intermediateKnowledge of:Core Tools.Sound knowledge of SQAM, VDA6 and other customer requirements.Ability to interpret technical drawings and specification.Knowledge and understanding of IATF 16949, ISO14001 and VDA6.Interpretation of external quality standards.Strong IR skills and knowledge
