Job SpecificationPromote quality throughout by assuring compliance to an effective quality management system Continuous improvement of processes through the facilitation of problem solving and the process of change managementDevelopment and Management of Strategic Quality and Food Safety ObjectivesPromote the importance and benefit of Quality and Food Safety in the operation be the Quality and Food Safety "conscienceIdentify opportunities for Infrastructural GMP improvement initiativesIdentify opportunities for implementation of Process, Product, Material and Equipment improvements Optimise process capabilityChampioning of QA ModuleExternal AuditingQuality and Food Safety related training needs are identified and appropriate training provided Risk Awareness, Identification and Management in the quality , lab and food safety environmentEvaluate and liaise with suppliers in terms of ability to supply raw materials or services at desired quality levelLiaise with Suppliers on Quality issuesManagement of Raw Material SpecificationsManagement of Finished Goods specificationsIdentify requirements and develop and implement Quality and Food Safety Systems, Standards and Procedures as requiredMaintain Quality and Food Safety Systems and Procedures Monitor compliance with Quality Systems (System, GMP and behavioural auditing) and ensure corrective actions as requiredEnsure Management of all the Pre Requisite Programs (Pest Control etc) Ensure effective functioning of Food Safety TeamManage the Customer Complaints SystemProactively liaise with key customers on product and service quality issuesEnsure appropriate Quality related documentation to customerLaboratory function is managed professionallyRecipe / Works Order controlManagement of Microbiological testing processEnsure that incoming goods Inspection Process is correctly managedEnsure the plant QC processes are managedEnsure quarantined or reject stock is appropriately managed Control of verification processesEnsure adherence to legislation policies, procedures and standardsConsistently apply 5S principlesConduct Incident investigations Promote awareness and review performanceMonitor and ensure corrective and preventative improvement actions through structured problem solvingCreate an environment conducive to innovation and an improvement mind setSetup effective teams and ensure review of performancePromote and ensure effective team communicationConduct Management Routines Manage performance of individuals Manage and ensure training and Development of ResourcesManage IR situations and ensure positive IR environmentEnsure that all administrative procedures are performed andSalary: R Job Reference #: 1092769
