Tasks will include but are not limited to: - To co-ordinate project quality support activities on behalf of Group Five, as directed by the company Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager.
Prepare Project Specific Quality Documentation.
Perform Quality training for the organization.
Know and understand Client and Project quality requirements and specifications.
Participate in all Criticality Analysis meetings and generate criticality action plans.
Prepare, co-ordinate and obtain approval of procured items quality operating plans.
Liaise with clients, suppliers, and contractors on quality matters.
Attend Project meetings.
Manage NDT Sub Contractors.
Manage paint sub-contractors quality outputs.
Control change and audit the implementation of Project Quality Plan.
Prepare quality status reports as required.
Input into and prepare project-specific procedures and work instructions.
Review and approve project Data Books Prepare project close-out reports.
Ensure all NCR'S are closed out within the stipulated time period.
Preparation and control of Project Quality Plans.
Preparation and control of Quality Control Plans.
Plan, schedule and execute project quality audits.
Execute Supplier evaluations as required.
Prepare QA requirements for orders and subcontracts within the project quality strategy.
Review and approve Supplier/Subcontractor QCP's.
Review and evaluate quality performance (internal, site and Supplier) and initiate corrective action through the Quality Assurance Manager.
Identify and investigate specific quality problems.
Review quality records and registers to identify recurring problem areas (Trends).
Manage and assist in project quality audit programs.
Prepare, co-ordinate and obtain approval of Procured Items quality operating plans.
Liaise with clients, suppliers and contractors on quality matters.
Preparation and control of Project Quality Plans.
Plan, schedule and execute project quality audits.
Execute Supplier evaluations as required.
Close out all NCR'S External and Internal.
To report on any adverse project QA/QC conditions and co-ordinate outcomes To perform internal audits and report on the findings To close out CARs and Non-conformances.
Education and Experience: 3-year University of Technology diploma advancing to a B-Tech degree after a further year of study.
Minimum of 5 years experience in Quality in a Construction Industry.
Formal Quality and Auditing training and Certification advantages.
Minimum 5 years quantity surveying experience within the Construction Industry, more specifically SMPP.
