The Techniplas Group runs 30 sites worldwide with production, sales and/or technology hubs and employs just under 4,000 members of staff.For our location in East London IDZ, Eastern Cape, we have an immediate opening for a Quality Engineer. Reporting directly to the Manufacturing Manager, you are an integral part of the related team, providing guidance in all local financial decisions. The successful candidate is a problem-solver who will work closely with the local management team to further improve the business. Preference will be given to employees from the Designated Groups.Duties & ResponsibilitiesEnsuring parts manufactured meet the customer's requirements.Ensure all relevant documentation is completed as per Quality Management System (QMS) or instructions.Supervision of Staff.Quality and Quantity Control.IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 / VDA 6.3 and customer specific requirements.Maintenance to external requirements.System updates.Training.Train staff to meet QC and safety standards.Desired Experience & QualificationGrade 12 or Equivalent.Tertiary qualification with an engineering, mathematical and Quality background.5 years' experience in a quality manufacturing environment.Computer literacy in MS Office.3-5 years' managerial experience.Knowledge of FMEA; ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, PPAP, APQP, VDA 6.3, VDA 6.5.Interested?Please apply with your supporting documents.
