The successful candidate will join the ambient warehouse team working with long-life food items, as well as lifestyle and scented products.RequirementsA completed National Senior Certificate qualification (matric / Grade 12).2 - 3 years' proven quality control experience.Computer literate (MS Office).Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Afrikaans and English).Knowledge of the food and beverage or retail industry would be advantageous.Valid forklift licence would be advantageous.Detail-oriented and hard-working individual who can multitask.Reliable and trustworthy, with sober habits.Availability to work on weekends, public holidays and overtime.ResponsibilitiesPerform incoming inspection procedures.Perform quality control on sampled products in the warehouse; flag and escalate any issues to the quality manager.Assist in resolving non-conformance and improving food safety and quality systems and processes.Stock picking and order consolidation.Perform general stock control operations in the warehouse.Participate in regular stock takes.Adhere to all health and safety protocols.Perform general warehouse duties.Assist with quality checks at receiving.Please send CV and salary expectation to (email protected).
