Quality Controller – Electrical & Control & Instrumentation (Fixed-Term Role)

The ideal candidate will be required to fulfil the following job description, but not limited to:
Responsibilities:Inspection of E&I equipmentProgress of EquipmentVendor document approvalsTrouble shooting on siteDesign of special documentsSmall project supervisionVendor AppraisalsProgress of project documentation (internal and external)Conversant with the South African Labour law & OSHAManagement of VendorsQualifications:The ideal candidate should be in possession of an Electrical and/or Instrumentation qualification, Technical Diploma.The candidate must have more than 5 years' experience in the quality control of Electrical or Instrumentation equipment.Knowledge of ASME codes, API and relevant SANS 347 / IEC specification is also required.Knowledge of Sasol SP Specifications will be an advantage.
