Requirements & QualificationsResponsibilities:Perform inspections on in-process aircraft builds, aircraft testing, maintenance and completed aircraft inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
Identify and document defects, non-conformities, or deviations from quality standards and build specifications.Conduct root cause analysis and collaborate with relevant teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.Maintain accurate records of in-process aircraft builds, aircraft testing, maintenance, test results, and corrective actions taken.Monitor production processes to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure adherence to quality procedures.Train production staff on quality standards, inspection techniques, and best practices.Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to quality control.Participate in cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives and drive quality excellence across the organization.Requirements:Have or have held an aircraft maintenance Engineers license or Aviation related trade with relevant experience.Proven experience in quality control or assurance.Strong understanding of quality management systems, methodologies, and tools.Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and quality standards (ISO, SACAA regulations).Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify root causes of quality issues and implement effective solutions.Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision in inspection and documentation.Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Proficiency in using quality control software and tools for data analysis and reporting.Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications:Aircraft Maintenance Engineers license or Aviation related trade with relevant experience.Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and quality improvement methodologies.Experience in conducting internal and external audits.Familiarity with risk management principles and tools (FMEA, risk assessment).Familiarity with root cause analysis tools (Bow tie, Fishbone, 5w).Familiarity with industry-specific quality standards and requirements.Consent:By submitting your information and application, you hereby confirm:That you have no objection to us retaining your personal information in our database for future matching/POPI Policy.That the information you have provided to us is true, correct, and up to date.
