Job Summary: To ensure manufactured products conform to quality, safety, and reliability standards.Job Requirements:Education:MatricTertiary Education (including Diplomas, Certificates, and Degrees)NQF 4 Supervisory Management QualificationCertificate in Quality ControlExperience:Minimum 8 years experience in the manufacturing industryCompetencies:Knowledge:Technical knowledge of the process, inclusive of equipment, raw materials, etc.Relevant quality system and certification as requiredSkills:People Management SkillsAdministration SkillsProblem-solving skillsAttention to detailOther Special Requirements:Diversity ManagementConflict Management SkillsDecision Making:Responsible for quality-related issues linked to colour and product defects.Responsibilities: Quality Control PlanningDevelop and implement quality control procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement, recommend and implement corrective actions.Develop and maintain quality control records, including documentation of test results, inspection reports, and corrective actions taken.Quality Control InspectionApply the company's quality principles and standards.Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).Conduct regular inspections of production processes, products, and materials to ensure compliance with quality standards.Conduct testing and evaluation of products to ensure they meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.Identify and document non-conformance and implement corrective actions.Personnel ManagementResponsible for leading, motivating, training, and managing subordinates.Comply with and maintain all GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices) in relation to the Company's FSMS (Food Safety Management System).Self-Development and GrowthRealistically assess own strengths and development areas and undertake actions to address weaknesses.Stay up-to-date with changes in regulations and industry standards and implement changes as required.GeneralEnsure the team knows what to do and where to find information if you are not available.Inform yourself about and apply the company's principles and standards.Set an example and be a role model for your team and others in the way you work and behave.The employee accepts that they may be required to carry out any other tasks as required by management based on operational requirements.Salary: R350 000 CTC
