Quality Control Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:Quality Control Planning & Inspection:Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.Conduct regular audits, inspections, and product testing to identify and rectify non-conformance.Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and accurate quality control records.Team Leadership:Lead, train, and manage a team of QC personnel, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to company policies.Conduct performance reviews, provide hands-on guidance, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.Manage team schedules, attendance, and adherence to workplace standards.Customer Service:Address customer inquiries and complaints related to product quality, working closely with internal sales teams to resolve issues.Health, Safety, and Food Safety:Uphold safety standards within the workspace and report hazards or incidents.Ensure compliance with food safety principles, standards, and the companys Food Safety Management System (FSMS).Reporting and Administration:Oversee daily audits, housekeeping standards, and ensure effective communication during shift handovers.Provide reports and escalate issues requiring action to relevant departments. Requirements:Education:Matric (Grade 12).NQF Level 4 Supervisory Management Qualification.Certificate in Quality Control.Experience:Minimum 8 years in the manufacturing industry, with strong exposure to quality control processes.Skills:Technical understanding of manufacturing processes, including equipment and raw materials.Strong leadership, problem-solving, and conflict management skills.Attention to detail and proficiency in administrative tasks.
