In South Africa, we have a workforce of over 480 staff.About the roleReporting to the Quality Control Supervisor with a dotted line to the Quality Engineer, the successful candidate will be responsible for Quality Control and Inspection of Products being produced and ensure that all quality checks are performed and recorded according to Company Practices and Processes/Procedures. This will include the handling of line rejects, as required.Ensure that problems on jobs are referred to the relevant head of departmentMonitor Process Parameters and Product Quality on a 2 hourly basisControl process parameter documents on the line to ensure correct standards are adhered toMonitor quality performance, as requiredEnsure that all changes that are done have correct documentationEnsure that all quality checks are done and recordedManage and clear quarantined material dailyReport all problems to managementCoaching of Operators on Quality and related aspectsConduct first-off measurements and samplesConduct root cause analysisIdentification of non-conformancesMaintain master samples and registerMaintain validation tools and registerUnderstand product specsUnderstand product drawing and measurementsFluidra is a workplace where everyone can develop.Should you not hear back from us within 2 weeks after the closing date, please note that your application was unsuccessful.Minimum RequirementsMatric CertificateQuality Control qualification would be an advantage3 to 4 years relevant working experience in a manufacturing environmentKnowledge of quality procedures and systemsAbility to work with laboratory and other Quality Control instruments in the correct mannerWell disciplined, organised and a high attention to detailGood mathematical, written, and verbal communication skillsGood command of EnglishPrepared to work shiftsInfluence and assertiveness as far as Quality is concerned
