You will need to show that you can understand client & project requirements; identify UX and UI design issues whilst testing; and ideally have proven experience working with any of the following CMS platforms: WordPress, Umbraco, or Optimizely. This role requires a hands-on QA tester with expertise in both manual and automated testing environments.The Bluegrass QA Manager will oversee your work and you will work very closely with other teams including Project Managers; Developers; and Designers.REQUIRED SKILLS3+ years' experience in QA testing for web and mobile applicationsProven hands-on experience with CMS platforms, with Optimizely, Umbraco, or WordPress being very advantageousProficiency in automation testing, with tools such as Playwright, Detox, and Selenium being very advantageousFamiliarity with development IDEs, like Visual Studio Code or similarStrong understanding of Agile methodologies, including Kanban and ScrumExperience using JIRA for defect trackingExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate technical issues to non-technical stakeholdersISTQB Foundation certification is advantageousUnderstanding of SEO and how to test SEO technical aspects from a QA perspectiveRazor sharp eye for detail – you should have a creative eye and the ability to review designs against the final product and pick out those minuscule 1 pixel off bugs and inherently understand when something 'feels wrong' within the user experienceSeniority LevelMid-Senior levelEmployment TypeFull-timeJob FunctionQuality AssuranceIndustriesSoftware Development
