REQUIREMENTS Relevant Diploma/ Degree in Food Science/ Microbiology/ Chemistry or related fieldAt least 2-4 years experience in a similar role and capacity preferably in a dairy IndustryUnderstanding of quality control proceduresAttention to detailAnalysing and interpretation skillsProblem-solving and communication skillsProficient in MS OfficeRESPONSIBILITIES Produce and coordinate the monthly quality action plan and prepare reports for monthly updates of performance against the expected standards to enable continuous improvements in quality, food safety and process efficiencyEnsure adherence to specifications of raw materials, process parameters, packaging material and finished goodsEnsure that changes in specifications/ legislation are implementedMaintain continuous improvement in the area of quality by working closely with all relevant parties (i.e. Technical Manager and production team)Monitor compliance to sanitation of the entire plant, and warehouse and ensure that GMP audits are conducted, and actions are closedWork closely with the lab team to validate results and drive continuous improvement programs for the reduction of sub-standardInvestigate non-conformances of final product, consumer complaints, food safety incidents, CCP failures, etc. and ensure that root cause identification is executed and closedEnsure that process audits are conducted as per set frequency to identify deviations and implement corrective actionAssist in certification and effectiveness of Quality Management SystemsManage internal service level agreements and put corrective actions in place to improve levels of customer satisfactionEnsure that trial requests are completed fully and that the required samples are taken during trials/ commissioningEnsure compliance with applicable policies, standards and procedures issued by quality#J-18808-Ljbffr
