Quality Assurance Manager (Plastics Manufacturing)

The incumbent will be responsible to drive quality assurance within operations, to continually minimise risk of deviation from standards. To ensure standards align with customer requirements. Implement and maintain ISO9001 and ISO22000 accreditation.

Requirements: 3 years QA Manager experience and any relevant manufacturing qualification Experience with i-Manage system or similar system to manage and monitor non- conformances / root cause analysis Must have experience in the implementation of BRCGS or ISO 22000 standards as well as ISO 9001 implementation Must have worked within Plastics manufacturing environment Key Performance Indicators: Observe and monitor production operations and equipment to ensure conformance to specifications and make or order necessary process or assembly adjustments Control and monitor scrap levels Assists with stock count Place orders with suppliers Organisation, maintenance, and control of the quality system Inspect, test, and sample materials or assembled parts or products for defects and deviations from specifications Ensuring the correct quantities of all production Ensure quality of production and assembled products including night shift quality (Product finish fusion, punching, printing, labels, carbon black, ID, OD Literate) Testing of pilots on test bed and labelling with QC Labels - conduct supplier audits Quality control standards Maintain good internal and external relationships Regular improvements to current processes & practices implemented
