Westfalia Fruit Products, situated in Klapmuts, has a permanent vacancy for a suitable qualified and experienced Quality Assurance Manager. This role will be reporting to the Technical Manager. Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for Implementing, Driving and Maintaining the FSMS & QMS on the standards prescribed Lead Food Safety audits from external & Internal parties for compliance purposes Keep up to date with customer specifications and all legislative requirements for the facility Handle internal and external Non-conformances Lead and Train quality team for the business unit Drive and meet the compliance levels set for the business Support systematic performance in the department Team player with ability to lead and interact with internal /External customer Minimum Requirements: Education and Experience: Minimum Diploma in Food Technology/ Biotechnology or equivalent qualification through an accredited institution Minimum of 5 years' experience in similar role working with Fresh produce HACCP, TACCP, VACCP, BRCGS training is essential Knowledge: HACCP intermediate / Advanced Internal / lead auditing FSSC22000/BRCGS training will be advantageous Computer Literate Knowledge on agricultural products will be advantageous Skills: Excellent organisational and leadership skills Proven Problem solver with ability, confidence and decision-making skills Excellent Interpersonal skills and communication skills Manage Performance Planning and Coordination Attitude / Behaviour: Customer orientated Pay Attention to detail Innovative Time management Able to deal with adversity Show initiative on goals set Promote collaborative relationships and teamwork Personal credibility and Responsibility Salary: The Company offers a Total Guaranteed Remuneration Package which comprises provident fund, insured benefits, medical aid and an option to structure an annual bonus
