Quality Assurance Manager - Finance Department Are you a dedicated Chartered Accountant looking to make a meaningful impact in the financial sector? We are seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to join our Finance Department. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality, compliance, and accuracy of our financial operations, with a particular focus on IFRS 17 reporting and the Solvency Management Assessment framework. Key Responsibilities:As our Quality Assurance Manager, you will:Oversee Quality Assurance: Develop and enforce quality assurance policies specific to financial operations, including IFRS 17 compliance.Manage IFRS 17 Implementation: Lead the transition to IFRS 17, collaborating with finance and actuarial teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.Support Solvency Management: Monitor compliance with the Solvency Management Assessment framework to ensure financial stability and sound risk management.Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Keep up to date with industry regulations, working closely with compliance teams to maintain standards.Drive Process Improvement: Evaluate and enhance financial processes to improve accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness.Lead and Develop Teams: Manage a team of Accountants, providing mentorship and training on financial procedures and compliance standards.Prepare Reporting and Documentation: Deliver detailed reports and maintain comprehensive audit trails for senior management.Collaborate Across Departments: Work with underwriting, claims, and other departments to foster a culture of quality and compliance.Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you should have:A Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.A minimum of 2 years of experience in an audit environment as an Assistant Manager or similar role, preferably within the short-term insurance industry.Strong knowledge of IFRS 17 and the Solvency Management Assessment framework.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Leadership capabilities with experience in team management.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.What We Offer:Competitive salary with performance-based bonuses.Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.A collaborative work environment that values quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.Ready to Join Us?If you're a proactive and detail-oriented CA with a passion for quality assurance in finance, we'd love to hear from you!
