Quality and Systems Manager (Production)Established packaging company in Pinetown requires an experienced candidate to manage the quality team, systems, ISO 9001 for one of their divisions.
REQUIREMENTS Degree minimum (Quality, or related)5+ years Quality Management experience in either packaging, FMCG, plasticsISO 9001:2015 experience essential (implementation and management thereof)Experience leading an ISO 9001 auditAdvanced Excel skillsStrong working knowledge of SHEQsys and MRM proceduresFSSC 22000 experience advantageousRESPONSIBILITIES Implement, review, ensure compliance to and maintenance of all Quality systems and procedures in the division.
This includes ISO 9001Develop and execute an internal Quality audit programActively implement continuous improvement projectsManage the Quality team (QC Inspectors)Ensure Quality Assurance with regards to raw materials and final productsReduce customer complaintsPartner with Sales Managers to provide customers with outstanding serviceAssemble, analyse and report Quality statistics and trends and make recommendationsManage the MRM, DRM processDevelop and carry out Quality training and education programsEstablish and manage Quality budgetCHARACTERISTICS Able to operate strategically and transactionallyAssertive (but not aggressive)Systems orientated and analyticalStrong logical and critical thinkingEnjoys being on the Production floorExcellent attention to detailPassionate about excellent serviceAbility to manage a teamThe ability to manage complexity
