Qualified Plumber (Cape Town Based)

· · Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in both residential and commercial properties, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances.
· Conduct inspections of plumbing systems and provide solutions to issues such as leaks, blockages, and malfunctions.
· Provide Certificates of Compliance (COC) for all completed plumbing work in accordance with the relevant South African plumbing regulations (SANS 10252).
· Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and building plans to determine plumbing layouts and installation requirements.
· Perform diagnostic assessments to identify plumbing problems and provide cost-effective solutions.
· Ensure that all plumbing installations and repairs comply with safety standards, municipal building codes, and regulations.
· Manage plumbing installations in new construction, renovations, and commercial projects.
· Respond to emergency plumbing calls, especially for commercial clients, to resolve urgent issues efficiently.
· Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and customer details.
· Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely procurement of materials and equipment.
· Ensure all tools and equipment are in good working condition and well-maintained.
· Valid Plumbing Trade Certificate (Red Seal or equivalent qualification).
· A minimum of 5 years' experience as a plumber, with hands-on experience in both residential and commercial plumbing.
· Ability to issue and provide Certificates of Compliance (COC) for completed plumbing work.
· In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems, pipework, water supply, drainage systems, and associated appliances.
