Qualified Auto Electrician

Qualified Auto Electrician - George, Western Cape We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Auto Electrician to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and components in a variety of vehicles.
This role requires a strong understanding of automotive electrical systems, the ability to diagnose and solve complex problems, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities: Diagnose electrical issues in vehicles using diagnostic tools and software.
Install, repair, and maintain vehicle electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, battery systems, and electronic control units (ECUs).
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
Interpret electrical wiring diagrams and technical manuals to accurately perform repairs and installations.
Collaborate with other mechanics and technicians to diagnose and repair vehicle issues.
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and regulations.
Keep detailed records of all repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles.
Stay updated on the latest automotive electrical technology and repair techniques.
Provide excellent customer service, explaining repairs and costs to clients as necessary.
Requirements: Proven experience as an Auto Electrician.
Must have completed your trade test (Auto Electrician Red Seal).
Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems and components.
Must have a mechanical background.
Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and wiring diagrams.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Certification or diploma in automotive electrical systems or related field is preferred.
Valid driver's license.
