Qlik Developer (Intermediate)

An exciting career opportunity exists for someone to perform a critical role within our Business Intelligence department, reporting to the Manager: Information Exploitation & Reporting.JOB DESCRIPTIONAs a Qlik Developer, the main responsibilities entail making changes to existing Qlik apps including Qlik Nprinting as well as some work on Business Objects.This involves designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions which use data extracted from various sources. A keen eye for detail and the ability to listen to the client's needs is also a requirement.Primary ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop Qlik applications based on business requirementsDevelop data models and perform data analysis to support Qlik applicationsCollaborate with business analysts, data analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure Qlik solutions meet business needsEnsure integrity and delivery of data from source systems to target systemsCompliance with Information Management (IM) Service Level Agreements (SLA)Develop and maintain Qlik dashboards and reportsProvide technical support and training to end-usersCoach and guide junior Qlik developersTroubleshoot issues related to Qlik appsEstimate effort involved in project tasksStay up-to-date with Qlik technologies and best practicesEnsure compliance with IM policies and proceduresAfter-hours and weekend standby support on a rotational basisSkills and ExperienceMinimum of 3 years of experience developing Qlik applicationsStrong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and data visualization conceptsProficiency in Qlik scripting language and expressionsProgramming experience in SQLStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsExperience in agile technology desired (Jira, Confluence, etc.)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and with a teamTime managementClient focusDrives results and meets customer expectationsRelating and networkingFlexibility and adaptabilityCultivates innovationCritical thinking and analyzingApplying expertise and technology
