Assisting with the implementation of effective laboratory health and safety procedures and In-process Quality ControlRequirements: Please note this is a fixed term contractDegree/Diploma in Food Technology/Biotech/Analytical 2+ years of relevant experience within the FMCG/manufacturing industryShould be able to uphold and maintain the current Quality systems in place, exposure to quality systems and HACCP will be an added advantageResponsibilities:Quality Control TestingOnline QC checks BB/Label/Weight Factory and Yard hygiene.Issuing PPELaboratory analysis (All lab tests on the manufactured product will be trained on all procedures) Responsible for ensuring labware are washed on a daily basis Assist with routine QC testing and shelf life testing as required Responsible to record all test results in protocol daily Responsible for reporting non-conformances to QC manager immediately Replenishing of stock in all areas of labPerforming all laboratory tests for online products, refinery, storage tanks and incoming tankers. Tests include FFA, PV, Moisture, Density, Refractive Index, Color, Soap, Wax, Phosphorous and GC Analysis.
