Hire Resolve is searching for a talented QA Manager to join our client's team in Rustenburg.
In this crucial role, you will oversee the quality assurance processes, ensuring that all products meet stringent quality standards and compliance regulations.
Your expertise will contribute significantly to the overall safety and reliability of production operations.
Key Responsibilities: Establish and maintain the Food Safety Management System (FSMS).
Manage internal defects and address quality issues.
Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation.
Support FSSC 22000 standards and related process controls.
Define the scope of the FSMS, specifying products and processes.
Identify, evaluate, and control food safety hazards.
Manage communication regarding safety issues throughout the food chain.
Periodically evaluate and update the FSMS based on current information.
Oversee outsourced processes to ensure product conformity.
Manage documentation requirements and control records effectively.
Engage with customers on product quality and address complaints.
Define and communicate the Food Safety and Quality Policy.
Support the policy with measurable objectives.
Plan for effective implementation of the FSMS.
Clearly outline roles and responsibilities within the FSMS.
Lead the Food Safety Team and report on FSMS effectiveness.
Manage internal and external communication processes.
Ensure personnel are trained on FSMS responsibilities.
Promote understanding of communication needs related to food safety.
Manage resources needed for FSMS implementation and maintenance.
Requirements Minimum 5 years of experience as a Food Safety & Quality Manager in FMCG.
Previous experience in a food production environment.
Experience in QA systems monitoring and evaluation.
Proficient in computer skills, especially Excel and email.
Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
Skilled in overseeing day-to-day compliance and food safety.
Experience leading a Food Safety and Quality team and meetings.
Knowledge of quality control analysis.
Experience with internal audits and SOP documentation.
