Duties and Responsibilities Measuring all apparel samplesConducting fit sessions and sign-off on fits, PP's and ShipmentsIssue graded specs to suppliers for all stylesEnsuring PLM remains updated with all determined blocks, tolerances and grade rulesManage and improve garment quality standardsLiaise with suppliers regarding fits and grading of styles under developmentImplementing a QC tracking toolReport on customer returnsLiaising with DC/QC teams on approvals and quality issuesLiaising with the K-way factory team on approvals and quality issues.Quality control checks against samples and approved fitsCreation of seasonal tech packsLocal supplier visits and quality auditsSolution driven investigation into quality queriesMinimum Requirements Grade 12Tertiary clothing/textile/garment construction qualification3+ years' experienceA valid driver's license requiredExperience working in a sports or technical clothing retail environment is advantageousA working knowledge of the latest Microsoft package is requiredMedium to high level of Excel experience is advantageousA working knowledge of garment/pattern construction is essentialWorking experience with product management software (centric PLM) is advantageousJob related Competencies Working knowledge of retail cycle and clothing construction principles and processes.A passion for keeping up to date with local and international market trendsDetail orientatedProactive and lateral thinkerAbility to build and maintain influential relationships at various levels and across business functionsEffective written and verbal communicationProven prioritization and time management skillsThe agility and resilience to maintain high levels of drive and initiative under pressure.
