Job Opportunity: QA Advisor
Location: Western Cape regionHire Resolve's client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Advisor to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of all products and services provided by the company. This role requires a keen attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Provide support on quality issues to all areas of the business, including construction delivery, proposals, procurement, and business services.
Participate in Supply Chain management processes.
Preparation and execution of PQPs and PMPs on all Nuclear projects.
Incorporation of industry standard requirements such as NQA-1 requirements.
Executing the internal audit program increasing transparency, effectiveness, and efficiency of QM audits to create a business impact.
Ensures professional non-conformance (NC) management and reporting of all business units.
Drives quality improvement methods and improves process performance management (e.g. 8D, RCA, FMEA).
Provide continuous management and support to all projects.
Requirements
Qualified Mechanical or Electrical Engineer or equivalent with professional registration.
Qualified as a Lead Auditor in ISO 9001.
Minimum of 7 years in the EPC industry as QA Advisor.
Experience in RCA methodologies will be advantageous.
Track record of training and implementing company strategies successfully.
Understanding of ISO 9001 principles, RD-0034 and ASME NQA1.
Understanding of ISO 19011 principles.
Understanding of basic principles of Engineering / Procurement / Construction and Project Management.
Understanding of project management principles – PMBOK, Contract Management & Planning.
Proven proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat is essential.
Proven proficiency in recognized Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS).
Experience in multi-disciplinary engineering, procurement, and construction industry.
Knowledge of the nuclear industry, particularly the applicable industry standards, codes, regulations, and practices, would be advantageous.
