Duties: ISO Systems Management: Oversee and manage the ISO 9001 (Quality Management System) Ensure compliance with all relevant ISO standards and facilitation of regular internal and external audits. Regulatory Compliance (South African Legislation): Stay informed about and ensure compliance with South African legislation as it becomes applicable to the organisation Develop and maintain company processes to ensure alignment with South African regulatory requirements. Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver training to employees on ISO compliance and adherence with relevant policies, procedures, and best practices, incorporating relevant South African legislative requirements. Foster a culture of quality awareness among all staff members, ensuring compliance. Incident Investigation and Reporting: Lead investigations into non-conformances considering both ISO requirements and applicable South African legal obligations. Compile and analyze data to generate reports on ISO performance, ensuring adherence to reporting requirements outlined in local legislation. Continuous Improvement: Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in ISO compliance, aligning with both ISO standards and South African legislative expectations. Implement and monitor initiatives aimed at enhancing general compliance with ISO 9001 Keep the organisation up to date with company legal requirements e.g. safety, health, environmental, and quality standards) in accordance with local regulations Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records related to ISO Compliance, ensuring documentation meets the requirements of ISO audit standards and South African legislation. Requirements: Matric Relevant degree/diploma in quality management or related 2-3 years experience managing ISO 9001 management system. Knowledge of implementation of other ISO systems - advantageous Certification in ISO standards advantageous
