What We're Looking For: We are looking for a software engineer with a passion for generative AI. You will collaborate with a team of engineers to build and maintain the backend generative AI services for 2U/edX. You will uphold industry best practices and will help encourage our team to continuously improve. Above all, you care about delivering quality software in a sustainable and timely manner and about software craftsmanship.
Sitting within the Service Experience portfolio, the Xpert Platform team builds and maintains services used throughout the company to provide artificial intelligence services that other engineering teams can employ. These services include data retrieval from large data sources, RAG, tagging, summarization and a chat widget.
