Job Description
Restaurant Server (AM Shift) This position at the Pyramid Restaurant and Bar is for a passionate food service individual who will provide an exceptional experience to our guests.
What you will be doing: Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging serviceShifts can include weekdays, weekends, and holidaysAssist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful wayFollow restaurant policies, procedures and service standardsHave full knowledge of beverage lists, promotions, menu items, contents, and preparation methodsFollow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beveragesAdhere to payment and cash handling proceduresMay have to assist In-Room Dining when neededOther duties as assigned Qualifications
Your experience and skills include: Previous experience in food service industry an assetPrevious experience as server in luxury setting an assetExcellent communication and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal and problem solving abilitiesPrevious point of sale system experience an assetFood handler & TABC certifications requiredAbility to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment, and without supervisionAbility to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all timesPhysical Abilities: Endure various physical movements throughout the work areasConstant standing and walking throughout the work shiftExert physical effort in carrying items (up to 40 pounds)Frequent lifting, kneeling, pushing, and pullingOccasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and rampsVisa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
