Our client, a renowned manufacturer specializing in hygiene products, is currently seeking a proactive and seasoned Procurement/Purchasing Manager to fulfil the role of Senior Buyer in Kempton Park, Gauteng. Seeking a skilled negotiator with analytical abilities, experience in commodity buying, and the capability to manage supplier relationships independently. This individual should excel at planning and research, as well as understanding the base costs of materials.Minimum Requirements For This Role:Industrial Engineering Degree or relevant training in Procurement/Supply Chain Management.Formal negotiation training is highly required, and CIPS certification is highly advantageousDemonstrated experience within FMCG or Packaging industries (that focus on direct retailer service) - a combination of both would be ideal.Strong analytical skills with a knack for identifying opportunities across product ranges.Proficiency in ERP systems.
