Centurion Fluid Filtration designs, builds and delivers bespoke filtration solutions and rental packages tailored to our customers' exact needs that put efficiency at the forefront.Main Purpose of the Role: Managing the timely and cost effective procurement of materials to support the Company operational needs. This role involves coordinating with suppliers, negotiating, and maintaining supplier relationships.Main Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities:Provide General Administration Support.Issue new suppliers with Vendor Questionnaire forms following relevant company procedures.Assist with maintaining Vendor Certification.Obtain and negotiate product/material costs with suppliers ensuring best price and quality.Prepare and process purchase orders on Sage 200 system.Track purchase orders for on time delivery of goods.Process goods received in line with company processes.Ensure materials certificates are received for critical material.Monitor Inventory to ensure adequate supply without overstocking.Arrange 3rd party contractors/services when required.Create manufacturing work packs for engineering.Complete end of job reviews.Liaise with Production and Department Supervisors for stock/purchasing requirements.Assist with Stocktakes.Keep work areas clean and organised.Adhere to all Company policies and processes.Comply with Health and Safety policies and processes.The job holder may be required to carry out any other related or associated roles, tasks or duties, which they can be trained, instructed and supervised to do safely and according to changing business requirements.Contribute to maintaining a positive QHSE culture by taking reasonable care for your own safety and the safety of others at all times. Be prepared to challenge unsafe acts and behaviour and report these using the correct reporting procedures.Consistently demonstrate and model behaviours that reflect the Centurion values of "We Do the Right Thing," "We Do What We Say," "We Go the Extra Mile" and "We Work Together."Be disciplined in completing mandatory training assigned relevant to the role designed to help protect the safety and security of the organisation and its employees.To be successful in this role, you will need:Experience in a manufacturing and engineering environment is preferred.Experience in purchasing and vendor management is preferred.Experience in Sage 200 manufacturing is preferred.Knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, workshop and project demands for fast paced environment.Effective communication skills (written and oral).Competency in MS Office.Have self-discipline, motivation, the ability to organise your workload and overcome problems as they arise.This role is based at Kintore Business Park, Kintore, Inverurie, AB51 0YQ
