Oversee the flow of invoices, liaising with approvers to ensure efficiency.
Prepare weekly/fortnightly payment runs for review and set up payments for bank authorizations.
Address and resolve supplier and budget holder queries and complaints.
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve outstanding issues.
Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations for purchase ledgers.
Ensure recoverable VAT is accurately identified and coded.
Vendor Management Set up new vendor accounts while adhering to company policies, including verifying bank details directly with suppliers and ensuring VAT compliance.
Maintain proper controls and ensure all processes meet compliance standards.
Support Functions Provide general assistance to the Cape Town Finance Manager.
We are looking for individuals with: Proven experience in purchase ledger management.
Exposure to multi-currency transactions.
A strong understanding of VAT principles.
Proficient in Excel and other financial systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
A proactive and detail-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn.
