This role involves assisting the PS Senior Superintendent, focusing on analyzing and profiling information generated by Crime Information systems on behalf of Anglo-American Platinum. The position reports directly to the PS Senior Superintendent and is expected to apply best practices during criminal screenings of all business partners. You will also be required to minimize security risks by advising management accordingly.

Job DescriptionAs a PS System Administrator your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Administrative duties regarding criminal screening for the Operations (Bookings, screening, submissions, follow-ups, and feedback)Maintenance and generation of administrative and statistical reportsAssist with Office Administration and Filing system, and all administration relating to data systemsEffective communication with relevant stakeholders at OperationsGood employee relations Effective two-way communication in FIU unitDevelop a trusting and mutual respect relationship with internal and external stakeholdersEnsure that employees work in a safe and productive environment and set targets for improvementsSupport and participate in the training and development requirements of employees, especially in terms of new systems and work practicesIdentify potential conflict situations and minimize the implicationsIdentify ideas to increase motivation and competenciesThis role is at a C1 level reporting to the PS Senior Superintendent QualificationsGrade 12Registered with PSIRA Grade BValid driver's license code B will be advantageousComputer Literate (Core output will be computer based)Experience3+ years' experience in Security within a mining environmentPrevious administrative experience essential (e.g., Data capturing, computer administration, office functions)Computer Literacy essential (MS Office)Previous criminal screening experience (Smart screen) will be beneficialKnowledge and SkillsNo criminal recordPass polygraph testGood written and verbal communication skills in EnglishPlease note this is a day shift role - office basedAbility to handle various emergency situationsMust be able to work fast and under pressureSuccessfully undergo an AAP medical examinationHow to ApplyTo apply for this role, please complete the online application.
