Our portfolio of world-class mining operations provides the metals and minerals that make modern life possible.Job DescriptionJob responsibilities include (but are not limited to):Delivering criminal screening and due diligence processes to alert the business of any high-risk individuals.Communicating screening feedback and results to relevant sites and contractors.Signing off route forms to track the screening process at the Onboarding HUB.Consolidating personal vetting into one document and importing it into the database.Preparing documents for consideration by the High Risk Committee.Following up on requests for more information by the High-Risk Committee.Conducting criminal screenings as required.Overseeing payments from different sites to PSIRA and MIE.Performing monthly checks on PSIRA, screening, and polygraphs for compliance purposes.Overseeing all booking requests for criminal screening with the Onboarding HUB.Assisting the Security Screening Superintendent in drafting monthly screening stats.Ensuring effective inter-department/unit communication with all relevant role-players.Assisting with polygraph, PSIRA, and procedural administration.Performing ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Security Screening Superintendent.Reporting to the Security Screening Superintendent FIU.Recommending changes to procedures and practices to facilitate security measures.Evaluating possible improvements for security measures.Recommending changes to organizational practices for better surveillance.QualificationsGrade 12Registered with PSIRA grade BValid driver's license code B (advantageous)Experience:Minimum 4 years' experience in Security or equivalent environment.Previous criminal screening experience (advantageous).Knowledge and Skills:Computer literacyCommunication in English (spoken, written, and reading)Understanding of the criminal screening conceptExcellent interpersonal skillsNo criminal recordPass polygraph testProtection Services InductionVoluntary Principles on Security and Human Rights (VPSHR)Additional InformationWho We Are: We aim to lead the industry by pursuing safer and more responsible ways of working, demonstrating integrity and showing care and respect for people and the planet.What We Offer: Expect a competitive salary and benefits package, along with opportunities for learning and growth.Inclusion and Diversity: We are committed to promoting an inclusive and diverse workplace.How to Apply: This role is open to Anglo American employees only.
