RPO Recruitment's client, a well-established company specializing in supplying high-tech systems and solutions in the electrical engineering industry, is currently in search of a Proposal Engineer who can join their successful and growing team in Nelspruit as soon as possible.ResponsibilitiesLiaise directly with Customer for quotations and orders on small to large projects.Check regularly the websites for tenders which are advertised and meet the company's scope of supply.Attend pre tender site meetings for technical and commercial clarification.Communicate with the client or the client's agent where technical and commercial is required.Communicate with Engineers when technical or design information is required or needed.Obtain prices from suppliers for preparing tenders.Calculation of labour prices for tender purposes.Prepare commercial documentation and documentation to accomplish tenders for submission.Ensure tender compilation is correct and complete according to company's standards and filed correctly.Ensure delivery of completed tenders on date and within time.Follow up of the tender outcome after submission.Answer clarification enquiries should there be any questions from the submitted tender.After successful award of tender, clarification to project managers and hand over to the relevant department for execution of the project.Ensure the Client and supplier contact details are updated on the company's database.Identify risk issues and their order of magnitude and mitigating such risk.Solicit subcontractor and/or supplier information & pricing.Ensure the flow of project information is maintained and documented.Coordinate insurance requirement with Risk Manager.Build effective relationships with customers, design team, specialty contractors, suppliers, and user groups that reflect and support company core values and meet or exceed the customer's expectations.Participate in the transfer of information on successful projects including the Job Kick-off Meeting.Perform other related duties as needed.RequirementsBTech in Electrical Engineering or higher.Diploma in Project Management or similar.Over 10 years' relevant experience in the electrical engineering field working as an Electrical Site Manager or Supervisor or similar.Strong mathematical and computer skills with proficiency in MS Office.BenefitsSalary: R420k – R540k CTC per annum.Contact RPO Recruitment for your next career opportunity.Our client is offering a highly competitive salary for this role based on experience.Apply for this role today, contact Meghan du Plessis and Riana Hattingh at RPO Recruitment or on LinkedIn.You can also visit the RPO Recruitment website: rporecruitment.us or email us your CV: ****** will contact you telephonically in 3 days should you be suitable for this vacancy.
