A well-established residential property company is actively seeking a committed Property Repairs & Maintenance Administrator for a permanent position. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the repairs and maintenance team.
Duties and responsibilities: Attend to all day-to-day maintenance requests and reported issuesGeneral Office AdminObtain quotations by the responsible parties for damages and repairs on the propertySubmit quotations to managing agents and insurance for approvalAssign approved contractorsDealing with contractors on interim and exit inspectionsFollow up by contractors for sending necessary documentation on work completedLiaise with tenants / agents / owners / management regarding maintenance queriesEnsure all EXIT inspections are received, scheduled, and completed for your allocated portfolioCommunication to owners regarding insurance claimsMeetings with Building Managers/CaretakersQuarterly site visit with Portfolio Manager or as requiredRequirements: At least 2 years experience in a similar positionQualification / Experience in the real estate or Sectional Title environment will be highly advantageousExcellent verbal and written communication skills (English & Afrikaans)Must be able to cope under pressure and have excellent problem solving skillsMust have a valid driver's license with own reliable transportWilling to work after hours if neededExcellent time management and organisation skillsSalary: R14k – R18k p/month, dependent on skills and experience
