We are seeking a skilled and experienced Team Leader or Manager to oversee our Property Management Department.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing a team within the property management industry, along with a strong understanding of property management processes and client service excellence.
This is a remote role which will supervise the team members who are based in South Africa and the United Kingdom.Key Responsibilities:Lead, mentor, and manage a team of property management professionals, ensuring high performance and collaboration.Oversee day-to-day operations of the Property Management Department, ensuring efficiency and compliance with industry regulations.Develop and implement strategies to enhance service delivery, client satisfaction, and departmental growth.Act as the primary point of escalation for complex property management issues, providing guidance and solutions.Maintain and improve operational processes, ensuring consistency and adherence to company standards.Foster a positive and supportive working environment, encouraging team development and professional growth.Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members, providing regular feedback to build their confidence in effectively communicating with landlords and tenants.Train the team and ensure compliance with day-to-day operations.Set and report on team targets.Drive the team to achieve various income streams, collaborating with Senior Management to establish and meet income targets.Identify potential income streams within property management and implement strategies to leverage them.Review landlord communications to maintain satisfaction and resolve any issues.Ensure all client obligations are consistently met.Requirements:Demonstrated experience in managing and leading a property management team.Comprehensive knowledge of property management practices, landlord-tenant laws, and industry standards.Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to manage client relationships and team dynamics.A results-oriented mindset with the ability to drive departmental performance and meet targets.Strong understanding of financial aspects related to property management, including budgeting, forecasting, and identifying income opportunities.Demonstrated ability to resolve disputes and manage challenging situations involving landlords, tenants, or team members diplomatically.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced leader who is passionate about property management and thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
