With logistics solutions, fulfilment centres, on-site facilities and value-added services, Inospace addresses entrepreneurs' most critical challenges when managing and growing their businesses.Job DescriptionThe Property Accountant role functions to ensure the accuracy and timeous financial processing and is responsible for oversight and preparing of accounts and bookkeeping functions, cash flow controls, statutory, compliance and audit requirements for a portfolio of property and/or management companies.Key Responsibilities:Preparation of journal entries (e.g. prepayments, accruals)Review and submission of monthly billings and invoicingPreparing and signing off on monthly bank reconciliations (preparing of cash books)Preparation of creditor reconciliationsPreparation of debtor and creditor age analysisOther reconciliations/detailed analysisOn-boarding of new properties onto the applicable accounting software (MDA)Variance reporting – numbers and commentary (actuals, budget)Preparation and delivery of all management account reports, including income statement, balance sheet per building, and all budget and variance reports across properties and services timeously i.e. by the first week of the monthProcessing of paymentsRegional treasury functionImplementing and overseeing internal control proceduresCreating efficiencies through the implementation of automated processes and proceduresPreparation of expense/cash book allocations (owner statements)Maintenance of monthly balance sheet reconciliationsYear-end audit preparationPreparing of general ledgerPreparation of budgeting/forecastingIntercompany loan reconciliationsAd hoc reportingRequirementsAccounting Qualification such as BComPrevious experience in the finance Property or Real Estate industryProven experience working on MDA Software (previously known as MRI)
