Property Accountant

Job Description:As the Property Accountant, you will be responsible for the following:Prepare management accountsAnalyze general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completenessReconcile balance sheet accountsProcess accruals and prepaymentsManage the bank accountsReconcile the bank statements to the balance sheetUpdate the interest tables with new interest ratesEnsure monthly and quarterly bond payments are made on timeUpdate the tenant installationsRaise fee schedulesProcess journals for electricity and water accrualsLiaise with meter reading companies and follow up on all the discrepanciesEnsure that the suppliers invoices are VAT compliantReconcile payments to the creditors ledgerAssist in the external auditing process Skills & Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a similar roleExperience working on MDAStrong Excel skillsQualification:Relevant Finance or Accounting degreeMatric (Grade 12) Contact JENELLE COOKSON on
