Managing all capital, development, engineering, or construction/installation projects involving innovative, and timely and cost-effective implementation for Kellogg.
Major emphasis is placed on cost, schedule, and performance in all areas i.e., processing, packing, electrical, mechanical utilities, civil/structural or construction.

Budget : Capital budget of ±R20 million increasing year on year 3) Principal Duties & Responsibilities Include all essential job functions This section should include the primary day-to-day responsibilities & activities of the position.
These should represent the "core" of the job duties Conducts projects technical and commercial feasibility studies, and evaluation of options with benefits / cost analysis and recommendations.
Prepares project appropriation document to the Kellogg global standards.
Prepares detailed technical specifications for all project work including scope of work and contract of performance for contractors.
Provides project scope, cost estimates, studies, and schedules to the Engineering Manager for project justification and approval.
Manages assigned engineering and/or development projects, initiates, and supervises pertinent activities, prepares project drawings, tests, evaluations, and specifications, oversees and calculates the development of design and materials to meet the needs of the project scope.
Supervises the fabrication of equipment by suppliers and monitors quality and adherence to technical specification and project timelines.
Supervises the installation and commissioning of projects in the factory and adherence to Kellogg safety and sanitations standards and OHS act.
Manages the project handover process including training of operators and updating all relevant documentation.
Acts as internal professional consultant to the Plant in field of expertise, which often requires inspections, troubleshooting and problem - solving.
Works with purchasing and vendors to establish design criteria for selecting equipment in order to prepare bid requests, contract documents, cost estimates, and performance data to ensure the selection of the most cost-effective and technologically advanced equipment, processing packaging and facilities.
Ensures proper and adequate documentation of project records.
Evaluates and/or checks equipment, materials and services received for adherence to contract specifications and approves vendor invoices for payment.
Adhere to Kellogg Environmental Management System.
Ensure and adhere to all the processes and systems in SAP is followed as per procurement policy.

• An engineering degree or a T4 engineering diploma • Min of 5 years' experience in FMCG • CAD experience • Project Management Experience • MS Office GCC
