The Role: To get customer satisfaction by installing, repairing, inspecting and commissioning service, considering economical and other aspects. Problem solving by using approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing operational or process problems; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately in different kinds of situations. Knowledge of the tasks, tools and procedures associated with providing technical support to the sales team and prospective customers.
Key Performance Areas: Pre delivery inspections to ensure machine complies with OEM standards as well as order on works requirements Machine testing On-site commissioning of Machines which includes: Customer training on use of electronic and paper manuals Hand over of commissioning data pack Monitoring of machine over an appropriate period to ensure that it performs to OEM and customer expectations Commissioning report for Account Manager and Customer (Site Conditions, Asset Performance, Site Production/Maintenance Risks) Develop Smart Services Provide on-site technical assistance to resolve issues during commissioning Process warranty claims in the event of any failure that occurs during PDI or Commissioning Ensure that machine delivers to OEM specified production standards Routine review of information packs that are supplied as part of commissioning to ensure they are technically appropriate Assist workshops/field service/Asset Agreement during times of low workload in commissioning team Machine Audits Your Profile: Trade Certificate of Competence - Diesel Mechanic, Auto Electrical, Millwright, accompanied with proof of apprenticeship 4 years experience with Mechanised Mining Equipment Underground mining environment, maintaining earth moving equipment Valid driver's license Full physical & medical certificate to work in mining environment Knowledge of Product Line Engineering Drawings and Schematics Understand how to use Product Manuals Computer Literacy Effective Communication Customer Interaction Employee Health and Safety Report Writing Fault Finding Attention to Detail Business Acumen Other: This position will require extensive travelling and living out, and it will also require the incumbent to work occasional unplanned overtime.
