Job Overview:
The Project Team Leader plays a critical role in overseeing and managing all aspects of the project, ensuring successful execution from planning to completion. This role demands strong leadership skills, extensive experience in project management, and a solid background in cybersecurity or IT, depending on the project's focus. Below are the qualifications needed:
Qualifications for Project Team Leader – Key Expert 1:
1. Educational Background:

Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
A Master's Degree in Project Management, Business, or a technical field like IT or Cybersecurity.

2. Certifications:

Project Management Professional (PMP): Offered by the Project Management Institute (PMI), this certification is globally recognized and validates the ability to manage large-scale projects effectively.
Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Certified Agile Project Manager: These certifications demonstrate proficiency in Agile methodologies and Scrum frameworks, essential for managing projects in dynamic environments.
Prince2 Certification: Prince2 (Projects in Controlled Environments) is a widely used project management methodology, and certification demonstrates expertise in managing and controlling projects.
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) (optional but beneficial): For projects related to cybersecurity, this certification adds credibility to the team leader's understanding of security-related concerns.
ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) Certification: This demonstrates expertise in managing IT services, particularly in aligning them with the needs of the business.

3. Professional Experience:

At least 10+ years of experience in managing complex projects, preferably in IT, cybersecurity, or technology-driven environments.
Proven track record in leading and managing cross-functional teams and overseeing large-scale projects from inception to completion.
Extensive experience in budgeting, resource allocation, and timeline management.
Experience managing stakeholders at all levels, including technical teams, vendors, and senior leadership.
Demonstrated experience in risk management, including identifying, mitigating, and addressing project risks to ensure the project stays on track.
Experience working on projects in cloud computing, cybersecurity, or software development environments would be a strong advantage, especially if related to Microsoft technologies.

4. Technical Skills:

A solid understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and tools like Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello, or other project management software.
Understanding of the technical aspects related to cloud environments like Microsoft Azure, as well as cybersecurity best practices, especially if the project involves IT infrastructure or security solutions.
Experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender XDR, and Azure services is a plus if the project involves cybersecurity elements.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively prioritize tasks based on business needs.

5. Soft Skills:

Leadership and Communication Skills: Must be a strong leader capable of motivating and guiding teams to achieve project goals. Excellent communication skills are essential to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking: Ability to anticipate challenges and develop solutions to keep the project on course.
Time Management: Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines efficiently.
Decision-Making Skills: The capacity to make informed decisions quickly, especially under pressure, is crucial for a project leader.
Negotiation and Conflict Resolution: Experience in managing conflicting priorities and stakeholder interests, resolving issues diplomatically.
