We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Scheduler to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will have a National Qualifications Framework (NQF) Level 6 in Project Management, alongside relevant scheduling qualifications and a minimum of five years of hands-on experience in project scheduling within [insert industry, e.g., construction, IT, engineering].
The Project Scheduler will play a pivotal role in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
Responsibilities : Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using scheduling tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, etc.)
to ensure effective tracking and monitoring of project progress.
Collaborate with project managers, stakeholders, and team members to gather project requirements and set achievable timelines.
Identify potential scheduling conflicts and risks, proposing solutions to mitigate delays and ensure continuity of project timelines.
Generate regular status reports, progress updates, and performance metrics for stakeholders, facilitating transparency and informed decision-making.
Assist in the allocation and levelling of resources, ensuring optimal utilization of team members and equipment.
Ensure that all scheduling practices comply with company policies and industry standards.
Actively participate in project review meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of project scheduling processes.
Requirements Qualifications : NQF Level 6 in Project Management or equivalent.
Relevant scheduling certification (e.g., Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), or equivalent).
Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in project scheduling within [specific industry].
Proven track record of successful project delivery and management.
