The location for this role is Sasolburg and the successful candidate will be required to fulfil the job as summarised below, but not limited to:
HSE Assurance & ManagementMaintain legal compliance for the applicable projects with regard to Environmental, Health and Safety Management.Development, administration and management of a comprehensive safety management system.Ensuring consistent application and compliance to the safety management system.Accurate reporting of HSSE statistics and incidents, identification of trends and implementation of corrective actions.Creating and maintaining a Health & Safety culture of awareness and collaboration within the project environment.Identify, coordinate, track and monitor the training of personnel in all areas of safety.Engaging with clients in a meaningful and professional manner with the purpose of delivering excellent client services.Environmental ManagementManage the development and implementation of environmental management systems within the project sites by identifying, solving and alleviating environmental issues, such as pollution and waste treatment in compliance with environmental legislation and to ensure corporate sustainable development.SustainabilitySupport the Uhde global initiatives and directives at project level in ensuring that the adopted global strategy to meet the set Sustainability objectives is adhered to and achieved.HSSE QualificationsRegistered with SACPCMP as Safety Manager.National Health and Safety Management Diploma (or relevant qualification).NEBOSH.SAMTRAC.ISO 45001 Implementation and Auditing.ISO 14001 Implementation and Auditing.HIRA.Incident Investigation.Working at Heights.Additional Educational RequirementsSound working knowledge of the MS Office Suite especially Excel.Years of Experience10 -15+ years practical health, safety and environmental working experience.Managerial Experience: Leading and managing a team.
