A well known construction company based in the southern suburbs area is a fastgrowing and wellestablished company and we are in high demand for our unique services in the construction industry.

Currently they are well positioned in the insurance private property new build and public sectors.

Duties:

Planning project resources.
Preparing feasibility studies and budgets for proposed projects.
Develops a costeffective plan and schedule for the completion of the project following a logical pattern for the utilization of resources.
Minimizes exposure and risk by implementing and auditing safety standards and quality assurance controls.
Preparing Bills of Quantities and other tender documentation to acquire fair and equitable tenders for projects.
Develop comprehensive project plans including scope objectives deliverables and timelines.
Coordinate with stakeholders to define project requirements and obtain necessary approvals.
Allocate and manage project resources including personnel materials and equipment.
Monitor project progress ensuring adherence to timelines and milestones.
Mitigate risks and resolve issues that arise during project execution.
Coordinate s work of subcontractors working on various phases of multiple projects.
Accurately forecasts revenue profitability and project costs
Manages to and achieves revenue goals set for projects
Leading teams and subcontractors for areas allocated by the client.
Effective time management.
Monitoring and reporting the progress of the projects.
Manages daytoday operational and tactical aspects of multiple construction projects in a supervisory role
Manages daytoday client interactions and expectations directly or in a supervisory role
Coordinating with team members to make sure that all parties are on track.
Project requirements deadlines and schedules.
Meeting with project team members to identify and resolve issues.
Submitting project deliverables and ensuring that they adhere to quality standards.
Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution.
Facilitating change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.
Conducting postproject evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements.
Stock control and management.
Liaising with site managers clients contractors and subcontractors.
Advising managers and clients on improvements and new strategies.
Traveling from the office to various sites
Monitoring costs and reporting to clients during the projects.
Perform quantity takeoffs and detailed cost estimation for plumbing projects.
Prepare bills of quantities (BOQ) and tender documents.
Evaluate and negotiate contracts change orders and variations.
Manage subcontractor procurement evaluation and selection processes.
Implement cost control measures to ensure project budgets are adhered to.
Provide guidance support and mentorship to team members throughout the project lifecycle.
Foster a collaborative and positive team environment promoting open communication and teamwork.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
Lead and manage project teams including plumbers subcontractors and other project personnel.
Assign tasks and responsibilities ensuring effective utilization of team members skills and expertise.
Coordinating the development of user manuals training materials and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to the clients.
Requirements:

Degree / Nat.
Dipl.
in Quantity Surveying / ND Building

7 to 10 years of working experience in a QS/Project Management role


Duties: Creating and Maintaining Schedules:Developing detailed project schedules that outline all tasks, milestones, and deadlines.
Coordination:Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all aspects of the project are aligned with the schedule.
Monitoring Progress:Tracking the progress of the project against the schedule and identifying any potential delays.
Adjusting Schedules:Making necessary adjustments to the schedule to accommodate changes in project scope, resources, or timelines.
Resource Allocation:Ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently to meet project deadlines.
Requirements 2+ year experience with scheduling of construction projects Clear criminal record Honest, commited and driven Availible ASAP
