Project Procurement Officer

This person will be the accountable procurement member in EPC, large, medium- or long-term projects. Steer all Procurement activities throughout the stages of the project in coordination with other members of the procurement team.Key Responsibilities:Define and adapt project Procurement plan and strategiesSteer project Procurement and intervene at strategic pointsProvide contractual, budgetary and regulatory supervision of the project on behalf of ProcurementExternal (suppliers) and internal (project) intelligenceRequirements:Bachelors Degree in engineering from a reputable university. 5-10 years operational experience managing EPC and large contractors for industrial projects.Experience in energy related projects is preferred.Highly analytical and capable of leading complex procurement projects.Fluent in English.Experience in negotiation of construction contracts (FIDIC or similar).Project Management experience, PMI or equivalent.CIPS level 5 or more.Good understanding of negotiation and construction projects in the Middle East.Renewables, desalination, Power Plant knowledge is beneficial.
