DescriptionWe are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Job Planner to assist our Project Planning team in managing efforts to establish the most time and cost-effective methods of erection and convert that to a working programme model. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project planning, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure.ResponsibilitiesPro-actively assist PCM and Lead/Senior Project Planner in managing efforts of planning to establish the most time and cost-effective methods of erection and convert that to a working programme model.Assist in the development of overall baseline programme in accordance with contract.Monitor actual job progress, compare to baseline, and report progress against schedule.Assist in forecasting the impacts on schedule of proposed changes.Assist in developing working control schedules (Level 3 & 4) for day-to-day activities for area/units under control.Attend management, project team, and customer meetings as requested.Assist in developing and maintaining an integrated progress reporting system including schedules, S-Curves, tables, milestones, and earned value analysis.Interact with Sub-Contractors to obtain programme updates.Assist in the production and evaluation of alternative action plans to correct deviations from plan.Assisting the Lead/Senior Project Planner in the production of project weekly and monthly reports.Under supervision, analyze engineering, procurement, and construction data and perform resourcing calculations to determine material, tools, and personnel requirements for the schedule.Comply with all health and safety, company policies, procedures, and standards.Display a professional, acceptable attitude and image for all work associated.AttributesHard working & eager to finish tasks on timeGood CommunicatorGood Time ManagementCompetency Requirements2-3 years' experience in a project planning function in an Electronic Security environment.Advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Office softwareKnowledge of project management and Electronic Security management tools/systemsKnowledge and experience in working with Ms ProjectStandard Procedures SP 01; SP 03; SP 05; SP 06; SP 07; SP 09; SP 12; SP 14; SP 16QualificationsBachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, or related fieldCertification in Project Management (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2)Certification in Electronic Security (e.g. CES)
