To aid in our effort, we are looking for an experienced, collaborative, and organized Water Project Manager/Engineer who will help lead teams to guide and support the delivery of our projects to serve our clients, to be community-focused as we partner with our clients and stakeholder to implement projects, and to achieve our project financial and quality goals.You will work with the program/project delivery team and plant operations team to meet our client project expectations and work to ensure that Jacobs is the consultant-of-choice. This typically includes project development and execution of contracts, oversight of other consultants and contractors, communicating with our clients and stakeholders to develop acceptable solutions, and mentoring and training of project engineers/technicians.Support the client service and sales team to win new work through the development of solutions and leveraging existing and developing new client relationships.Lead and manage teams through all phases of project planning, execution, and closeout consistent with established project delivery processes to meet the scope, schedule, budget, and other specified requirements stated in the contract.Demonstrate leadership by example with integrity and candor and in support of Jacobs Culture of Caring work environment.Here's what you'll needBachelor of Science in Civil/Environmental/Chemical Engineering or related engineering field.10+ years of experience managing water or wastewater infrastructure projects.Demonstrated progressive experience in one or more of the following areas: water, operations and maintenance consulting, regulatory programs, or related services.Understanding of project delivery tools and metrics and a proven history of leading project delivery teams to successfully meet client expectations.Attributes that include excellent oral and written communications, self-motivation, collaborative work practices, strong data analysis and technical problem solving, and a strong organizational approach.Project management, staff management, and business development experience.Ideally, you will also haveAbility to work with technical leads to understand and translate regulatory requirements into processes and then implement those processes.Ability to engage directly with clients and stakeholders to build trust and work with individuals to implement program/project objectives.Mississippi Professional Engineering license or the ability to obtain a professional engineering license.Jacobs' health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about.
