Hire Resolve's client, a leading renewable energy company, is seeking an experienced Project Manager with expertise in Solar PV to join their team in both Cape Town and Johannesburg.The Project Manager will be responsible for managing the successful implementation of Solar PV projects, overseeing all project activities and ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. This includes coordinating with internal teams, contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure the smooth execution and completion of projects.Responsibilities:Owner of project budgets and must be updated for weekly reporting - CandyProject schedulingProject reportingProject scope of works development and managementProject contracts managementProject logistics managementProject equipment orderingProject installation quality controlProject Health and Safety responsibilitiesProject commissioning leaderClient liaising and relationship managementTechnician management (allocated to your project)Subcontractor appointments and managementAssess and accept engineering designsDesign of solar PV energy systemsAssist with any operations and maintenance issues on all sites under SLA with NSEDevelopment of department tools and documentsDevelopment & delivery of project handover documents to clientEnsure all ISO9001 and ISO45001 compliances are met during constructionFeedback project learnings to the Engineering Department ensuring continual improvementHandover system to O&M department as per handover procedureRequirements:Minimum 5 years' experience in project management, preferably in the Solar PV industryA minimum qualification of N.Dip Electrical, Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, Civil or Structural EngineeringProven track record in successfully managing Solar PV projects from conception to completionExcellent knowledge of Solar PV systems, including design, installation, and commissioningStrong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent communication and negotiation skillsProficient in project management software and toolsBenefits:Salary: negotiableContact Hire Resolve for your next career-changing move.
