Job Overview: The Solar Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and the successful completion of solar energy projects.
This role involves managing budgets, schedules, and resources to deliver high-quality solar installations that meet client specifications and comply with industry standards.
The Solar Project Manager works closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, construction, and stakeholders, to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Responsibilities: 1.
Project Planning and Execution: - Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with design, engineering, and procurement teams to finalize project details.
- Oversee the installation process, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.

Budget and Resource Management: - Manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial goals.
- Allocate and optimize resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Stakeholder Communication: - Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and contractors.
- Regularly update stakeholders on project status, milestones, and changes.
- Address client concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.

Team Leadership and Coordination: - Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Monitor performance, providing guidance and support to ensure goals are met.
- Ensure team members comply with project timelines and quality standards.

Regulatory Compliance and Reporting: - Ensure all project activities comply with local, state and federal regulations.
- Prepare and submit required documentation, including permits and project reports.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.

Compliance & Safety: - Ensuring that all projects comply with local regulations, industry standards, and safety protocols.
Qualifications: Professional Registration with SACPCMP as Pr.PM Bachelor's Degree: Electrical Engineering (or related field) 3+ Years Solar Experience with managing commercial and industrial/utility projects.
